Cyclist killed, 22-year-old driver charged in hit-and-run in Niagara-on-the-Lake

NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE - Police say a cyclist died in Niagara-on-the-Lake after they were struck by a vehicle whose driver allegedly fled the scene and did not report the collision.

The Niagara Regional Police Service says officers eventually located the 22-year-old driver and he now faces charges of impaired driving causing death and failing to stop after an accident.
