THE CANADIAN PRESS/Darryl Dyck DD SMS Email Print Copy article link Save Alberta police say one person is dead following a roadside interaction near the community of Irricana, northeast of Calgary. Airdrie RCMP say officers were responding to a 911 call on Highway 9, just outside the town, at 6:20 p.m.Upon arrival, officers say they located a male suspect, and after an altercation, at least one officer discharged their service weapon,They say that despite life-saving measures taken at the scene, the man was declared deceased.
