Wildfire forces evacuation of remote village in Northwest Territories

FORT SIMPSON - A remote community in the Northwest Territories has been ordered to evacuate as a wildfire continues to burn nearby.

Officials with the Village of Fort Simpson say the community's roughly 1,300 residents should flee to the Multiplex Arena in Yellowknife, about 375 kilometres southwest.
