TORONTO - Corus Entertainment Inc. reported a net loss attributable to shareholders of $36.5 million in its latest quarter as the company behind Global Television saw its revenue fall 16 per cent compared with a year ago.

Chief executive John Gossling says the results reflected significant savings from cost management initiatives, which helped partially offset continued pressure on linear television advertising demand.
