B.C. faces 'complete opposition' after telling First Nations of plan to suspend DRIPA

VICTORIA - Changing British Columbia's Declaration on the Rights of Aboriginal Peoples Act is "non-negotiable" and it will be pushed into law, Premier David Eby said on Wednesday.聽

"We are working with chiefs to try to find a path forward," Eby said at an unrelated news conference in Victoria. "We have to do it, and we will do it."聽
