Additional workers join Nova Scotia long-term care strike, with more on the way

HALIFAX - Nova Scotia health officials said Tuesday that they are making progress recruiting health professionals and in reducing the province鈥檚 primary care wait list through an emphasis on collaborative care.

Dr. Aaron Smith, provincial medical executive director with the province鈥檚 health authority, told the legislature鈥檚 health committee that clinics with multidisciplinary teams attract doctors.
