Nova Scotia youth charged after staff at business shown replica handgun

HALIFAX - Police in Nova Scotia say a young boy has been arrested and charged after staff at a business in New Glasgow reported being shown what appeared to be a real handgun.

Officers were called Sunday about a weapons complaint on George Street in the town roughly 160 kilometres northeast of Halifax.
