Galle says she is ready.

鈥淚鈥檝e put my time in," the 36-year-old from Mississauga, Ont., said in a statement. "I鈥檝e been hanging out in the coattails of these big names, working in silence, and I鈥檝e earned a spot at the table."

Galle holds the IBO bantamweight title, which will not be on the line in Miami.

The main event at the Kaseya Center pits Jake Paul, an actor, influencer and boxer, against WBA lightweight champion Gervonta (Tank) Davis in an exhibition bout, meaning the result won't be part of either of their professional records. Canadian Leila Beaudoin challenges undisputed world super-featherweight champion Alycia (The Bomb) Baumgardner in the co-main event.

The card, which is being promoted by Paul's Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), is being aired on Netflix.

Galle started in combat sports at age six, earning her black belt in karate after being inspired by TV's "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers." Switching to boxing, she had her first fight at 16 and went on to win three national titles (in 2009, 2013 and 2018).

Galle turned pro in 2019. Her nickname Bambola is Italian for doll.

A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) in early childhood education, Galle trains at All Canadian Martial Arts Academy in Mississauga. Today she teaches boxing at the gym's academy.

Born in New Zealand, the 30-year-old Johnson now fights out of Australia's Gold Coast.

In July, Johnson defeated Shurretta Metcalf on the Katie Taylor-Amanda Serrano trilogy card at Madison Square Garden to become the first-ever undisputed Australian champion in boxing's four-belt era.

鈥淎manda Galle came up after my fight versus Shurretta Metcalf in NYC, showed respect, and said she wants what I鈥檝e got," said Johnson, who has also held the IBF super-bantamweight world title. "I can鈥檛 blame her, I鈥檇 be chasing all the belts too.''

The Baumgardner-Beaudoin bout will be contested over 12 three-minute rounds, like the men.

Baumgardner (16-1-0 with seven knockouts) holds the WBO, WBA and IBF world titles at 130 pounds. She chose to vacate her WBC belt as the sanctioning body does not recognize women competing in three-minute rounds (instead having them compete in two-minute rounds).

Beaudoin (13-1-0 with two knockouts) is ranked No. 2 by the IBF and No. 3 by both the WBO and WBA.

The 28-year-old Paul (12-1-0 with seven knockouts) has fought a string of name opponents, albeit from different eras and sports, from 58-year-old Mike Tyson to former MMA stars Anderson Silva, Mike Perry and Nate Diaz.

While the 30-year-old Davis (30-0-1 with 28 knockouts) is a legitimate champion, he will be giving up a ton of weight.

Paul weighted in at 227.2 pounds for the Tyson fight while Davis weighed in at 133.8 pounds for his last bout. Paul can weigh no more than 195 pounds to face Davis with both men wearing 12-ounce gloves.
