Ontario's solicitor general sorry for saying improperly released inmates were caught

TORONTO - Six inmates who were mistakenly released from Ontario's jails remain at large, Premier Doug Ford said Tuesday.

More than 150 inmates have been improperly released from the provincial jail system since 2021, a brewing scandal that has dogged the province since last week.
