REGINA - Saskatchewan Party Leader Scott Moe has encouraged party faithful in Prince Albert to cast their ballots ahead of the Oct. 28 provincial election.
He says advanced polls will be open across the province until Saturday and that the province is taking steps to make voting convenient with more locations.
Moe also says on social media that he and his wife Krista returned to their hometown of Shellbrook to vote in advance.
He says every vote matters in the upcoming election and encouraged undecided residents to cast their ballots for his party, which formed government before the election call.
In Prince Albert, Moe also recounted party promises to make life affordable for Saskatchewan families by reducing personal income taxes and withholding federal carbon levy payments on natural gas until 2026.
He also took aim at the Saskatchewan NDP, saying it would raise taxes, cancel much-needed infrastructure projects and bring the province back to a time of decline and loss.
"That is their record, and it is their plan," Moe told reporters Tuesday. "Or you can choose the Saskatchewan Party that will keep our economy strong and our future bright for all of those that live here today and those that will live here tomorrow."
