Ontario Power Generation CEO, former CEO top Sunshine List of highest public earners

TORONTO - Ontario Power Generation's former CEO is at the top of the list of high-earning public servants for the year after he retired.

Ken Hartwick retired at the end of 2024, a year in which he earned more than $2 million, but Ontario's public sector salary disclosure — the so-called Sunshine List — shows he earned $1.9 million in 2025 as a special adviser to OPG.
