Nova Scotia legislature reopens to public 鈥 but with new restrictions

HALIFAX - A Nova Scotian book publisher says the provincial government鈥檚 cuts to the arts and culture sector are 鈥渟oul-crushing鈥 when sales have already been decimated by uncertainty in the U.S. market.聽

鈥淪ome publishers are cutting half the number of books that they're going to do from Nova Scotia authors,鈥 Terrilee Bulger, co-owner of Halifax鈥檚 Nimbus Publishing, said in an interview Thursday.聽
