Liberals mum on bill to codify standards in long-term care, despite new guidelines

OTTAWA - A team of experts released a highly anticipated, detailed handbook on how to boost quality of life and prevent the spread of infection in long-term care homes last month that could inform anticipated federal legislation.

But the government has yet to release any details about a promised new law.
