A developmental support worker is facing two charges after a woman died at a supportive living residence in the Town of St. Marys, Ont., last month.Â
Stratford Police Service says officers responded to reports of a sudden death at a facility owned and operated by Community Living St Marys and Area on March 11.Â
Police say the victim died shortly after their arrival despite the life-saving efforts by Perth County paramedics.Â
Investigators say the suspect was charged with criminal negligence causing death and failing to provide the necessaries of life following an investigation into the death of the 40-year-old woman.Â
Police say the suspect who was arrested earlier this month was released on an undertaking.
The accused is scheduled to appear before a court on May 11.
