Quebec man charged with murder after his wife found strangled in seniors residence

TERREBONNE, Que. - An 81-year-old man has been charged with first-degree murder in the strangling death of his 79-year-old wife at a Montreal-area seniors residence.

Police were called to the residence, Ressource de Lanaudière, in Terrebonne, Que., around 6 p.m. Saturday after two people were found unconscious in an apartment.
