Welltower to sell four retirement homes in deal with Competition Bureau

GATINEAU - The Competition Bureau has reached an agreement with Chartwell Master Care LP regarding its plan to buy six retirement homes from Sifton Properties Ltd. in Ontario.

Under the deal, the regulator says Chartwell has agreed to sell its Clair Hills retirement home in Waterloo, Ont., to address competition concerns about the transaction.
